Hi Natalie – thanks for the comment.

It has worked for me a bit but hasn’t seen the same success as other Google Trends topics I have written about. Some of them have exploded my unique views per day and its great. You just need to pick a topic that not many people are writing about and everyone is searching about. Keep in mind that the traffic doesn’t stay for too long unless its something people will be searching for for a couple of days.

As for the money made from all the extra traffic. It hasn’t amounted to much just yet but it might depending on how I optimize my Adsense ads. I have moved them around today to see if I can get more clicks with the amount of traffic I am getting.

If the new ad positioning works then I will have to keep trying and find a few great topics on Google Trends and then just constantly update them with more information that people are searching for.

I just read your Transformers 2 post. I found it by searching Google Trends. You must have just read the same ebook as I did. I was also looking for hot trends to post on my blog for a test.

I guess it worked for you since you were one of the blogs listed on the trends page. Good Job!
